I am a Canadian visual artist whose creative practice begins with looking closely at the ordinary things around me and exploring the ideas, questions and stories they spark.

Photography, sketchbooks, drawing, writing, painting, ceramics and fibre arts are simply different ways of responding to what I see and experience. Some work becomes finished pieces. Others remain experiments, observations or ideas waiting to be examined.

This website is part of that practice: a place to collect what I notice, share what I am exploring, and document the ongoing process of finding my way back to the creative person I have always been. It is also a place to share what I am learning as I work to reclaim and deepen my own creative life.
